The entitled arrogance of the left and their certainty that only they have the right to be in charge and control the rest of us is why I have such contempt for them. The use of the phrase "babysitting" Likud as if they are unruly children when in fact Bibi is actually the adult in the room in dealing with hamas, while the left are the ones engaging in childish fantasies of peaceful coexistence with "palestinians".

In America those who want to force their Marxist experiment of the rest of us are always the super wealthy.

This is the most concise and to the point piece I have seen on this topic,... or rather topics.

Hoping to see the downfall of Ehud Barak. Note: I wrote "see," and not "rejoice." המבין יבין.

All of what you wrote is important,

and unknown by many of us.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of facts.

Ehud Barak and his ilk are solely responsible for reliance on technology and selling the idea of a smarter smaller IDF which led to the Israeli equivalent of Pearl Harbor and the rendering of the Maginot Line obsolete

Your prior linked article on the strange career and bizarre prognostications of Ehud Barak was excellent .One wonders how much he received from Biden & Co to lead the riots that led to the near civil war RK that invited the events of 10/7

Lisa, you are well-meaning but very naive!

"They were funded in part by USAID (thank you DOGE, for stomping on the heads of that Deep State funding machine), and are most likely still funded by George Soros and European NGOs."

What's this "WERE FUNDED"?

The Israel USAID office is still open for business, today! Whatever you see or read about in the news is scripted. Not all news is staged, but 100% of it is scripted. Even if 99% of USAID was defunded (like Trump and Rubio like to claim), you should ask the question that needs asking. Why is the Israel office so important that it, alone, continues to be funded and open for business? Bibi benefits from the protests. He can point to the protesters and then claim to his increasingly skeptical supporters, it's me or them. He can shut the office down in an instant, and doesn't.

This video was taken months ago, but nothing has changed. I see this office every time I go to work. How about you pay them a visit to see for yourself?

Wow, Lisa. You outdid yourself with this essay. Ehud Barak sounds like an absolute monster, so despicable. He was so willing to give everything away to the Palestinians who still turned down the offer. Maybe he should go into Gaza and feed them and appease them. I'd love to see how far that would get him.

This is a great analysis on the sorry state of the secular left of Israel

Shouldn't this bastard be tried for treason?

"They are well funded, in part by billionaire ex-prime minister Ehud Barach, who is on record as stating his intent to bring down this government by any means necessary, and his willingness to see blood run in the streets of Israel if that’s what it takes".

Lisa Liel's avatar

Why yes. Yes, he should. And that'll happen about three days *after* the US puts Obama on trial for treason. "It's good to be king".

Diane Steiner's avatar

We can only hope, Lisa. Here in the US, there are so many "investigations" going on, and little happening. We not only need Obama but Comey, Brennan, and the rest of the traitors, but there is much more that the FBI is investigating.

You're full of shit.
