Quick Take: Jimmy Kimmel

Just sayin'...

Sometimes there are things I think bear pointing out, but don’t merit a whole post. So I’m going to post them as Quick Takes. Like this.

President Donald Trump has a big mouth. No disrespect intended. He knows it, and he revels in it. It’s the source of part of his power, in office and out.

And as part of that big mouth, he speaks his mind as POTUS just as he would as a private citizen. This includes bashing people he deems bash-worthy. And most of the time, nothing happens as a result. Because president or not, he’s just venting. Just saying what he thinks, which is a Constitutional right that I don’t believe is cancelled when you take office.

There is a long list of imbeciles who have said imbecilic things about Charlie and about his murder, and have subsequently been thrown out on their asses. That’s coming from an outraged public, which, believe it or not, includes some people who are nominally on the left.

Kimmel got himself fired, and if President Trump hadn’t said a single word about him, he’d be just as fired. So cool it with the OmgzCensorship!!! garbage.
