I was a New Yorker, born and raised, and I loved the city when I worked there, dined there, and couldn't get enough of all the wonderful cultural activities it had to offer. Then, it truly was a cosmopolitan and glamorous city. Now it's a cesspool, period. My sentiments are exactly like yours. I'm in Florida and I say, don't come here. New Yorkers are like locusts who destroy every place they go to because it's not New York enough for them. They should go where the rest of their nutty comrades live, California, Massachusetts, Chicago. Those are the perfect places for them. New Yorkers are masochists and Zohran will be voted in, no doubt. Voting a socialist in, in the biggest financial city in the world. That should work out real good for them, and I'm looking forward to it.

Fifty years ago, the rate of intermarriage between Jews and non-Jews was (conservatively) estimated to be 70%; today? their descendants hold-true to that percentage, and we're left with (figuratively-speaking) barely a מנין of "real (non-Orthodox)" Jews. I agree that the Mohrans who voted for Zohran should stay in the U.S. But for those Jews who have finally seen the light, that far-leftism = antisemitism, they should make aliyah.
